The Taipei Trade Office in Fiji is proud to reaffirm Taiwan's enduring partnership with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) through a US$2 million development contribution for 2024–2025

Officially handed over on 30 June 2026, this contribution reflects Taiwan's steadfast commitment to supporting the implementation of the 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific Continent. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Jason Chih-Sheng Huang, Acting Representative of the Taipei Trade Office in Fiji and Mr. Esala Nayasi, Deputy Secretary General of Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.
The funding will help strengthen the Secretariat, support Smaller Island States, and advance regional collaboration through the Council of Regional Organisations of the Pacific (CROP).
Taiwan also remains committed to supporting the Office of the Pacific Ocean Commissioner (OPOC) and the Pacific Resilience Facility (PRF), reinforcing our shared vision of a resilient, sustainable, and prosperous Blue Pacific.
