Amb. David Cheng-Wei Wu and Mrs. Wu visited the Taiwan Technical Mission’s whiteleg shrimp aquaculture project in Fiji, which supports the development of Fiji’s shrimp farming industry
From hatchery and shrimp seedling production, to aquaculture techniques, farmer training, and the development of a sustainable industry value chain, the project is steadily sharing Taiwan’s accumulated experience and expertise with Fiji. Through these efforts, we hope to help the whiteleg shrimp industry take root and thrive in Fiji, while further strengthening the country’s aquaculture capacity
And never underestimate the power of a tiny shrimp! Our little shrimp mates are connecting something much bigger—the deep and lasting friendship between Taiwan and Fiji
We look forward to seeing even more fruitful results from Taiwan–Fiji cooperation in Fiji’s beautiful blue waters!
