Mackay Medical Team Returns to Fiji for the 8th Overseas Medical Mission

For the eighth time, the Mackay medical team has come to Fiji to provide overseas medical services and share care with communities in need
As Fiji has declared an HIV emergency, Mackay Memorial Hospital has responded to the country’s needs by bringing together leading specialists in Cardiology, Family Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Dentistry. For the first time, an Infectious Disease specialist has also joined the mission, providing information and recommendations on HIV-related healthcare and prevention measures
In addition to offering free medical consultations at Nadi Hospital, the Mackay team has also visited community health stations and surrounding villages, bringing medical care directly to people who need it most
