Taipei and Athens business organizations renew their MOU on cooperation

A delegation from the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei called at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry on September 1, 2017. The two groups hold discussion on promoting bilateral trade and investment, exchanging visits, sharing market information and so on. A memorandum of understanding on economic cooperation was signed by the two organizations in 2003. The y renewed the MOU at the meeting, signed by Mr. Constantinos Michalos, President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. John C.T. Huang, Chairman of the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei, in the hope of continuing the cooperation and further the relationship.
The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded in 1914, and is one of the most important chambers of commerce in Greece. It has nearly 100,000 members from all over Greece. Founded in 1947, the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei is also the largest business group in Taiwan. The delegation was headed by Mr. Cody Y.C. Chang.
