Consular Services Offered

The Taipei Representative Office in Ireland accepts applications for R.O.C. (Taiwan) passports, visa applications from foreign nationals, and document authentication requests. Please note that certain document authentication services are subject to consular jurisdiction restrictions. For detailed information, please visit the respective webpages.

Service Hours

0930-1230 / 1400-1700, Monday to Friday
Service hours may change due to holidays. Please check with us in advance.

Submission Methods

In-Person Submission by Appointment (Recommended)

Check our website for detailed information on eligibility, required documents, and consular fees for your application, and prepare accordingly.
Schedule an appointment with our office in advance by phone or email, providing your name and contact details for registration.
Bring all required documents and fees on the day of your appointment. Upon arrival, please ring the doorbell and wait for a response before entering.
Collect your documents from our office after receiving notification via email or phone. If you cannot collect them in person, please refer to the "Submission by Post" section for instructions on receiving your documents by post or courier.

Submission by Post

Registered Post by An Post

Step 1. Prepare all required documents and fees.
Step 2. Include a self-addressed return envelope with recipient name, Irish address (including Eircode), and sufficient registered postage*.
Step 3. Send the complete package to our office by registered post.
Step 4. Upon receipt, the Office will check completeness and notify you if any items are missing. Processing begins only after all documents are complete.
Step 5. After completion, the Office will return your documents using your provided envelope. You may track delivery via An Post.

* How to Prepare Sufficient Registered Postage

Applicants may refer to the An Post website (click to open) for the latest registered post rates for the current year and purchase sufficient physical stamps from the post office to affix to the return envelope.
Alternatively, applicants may visit the An Post website (click to open) to purchase a label based on the weight and size of the item, then print and attach it to the envelope.

Courier Company

Step 1. Prepare all required documents and fees and package them securely.
Step 2. Arrange a courier to collect and deliver your application to our office (see address in the contact section below).
Step 3. Upon receipt, the Office will check completeness and notify you if any items are missing. Processing begins only after all documents are complete.
Step 4. After you receive the completion notice, arrange a courier to collect your documents 1–2 working days later, during 10:00–12:00 or 15:00–17:00.
Step 5. Email the courier’s PDF shipping label to the Office for printing and packaging.

*Please note that certain applications must be submitted in person, and our office cannot be held responsible for any delays or losses associated with document delivery.

Payment Methods (Choose One)
1. Cash (EUR): Please prepare the exact amount in denominations of €1 or above. Coins under €1 (cents) are not accepted.
2. Postal Order (An Post) or Bank Draft (Irish bank): Payable to “Taipei Representative Office in Ireland.”
