“Ocean Taiwan: Landscapes and Paintings” Exhibition Opens

Four centuries ago, European voyagers discovered Taiwan by sea, giving it the name "Ilha Formosa." Today, Taiwan sails across oceans—through culture, art, and stories that embody our shared values of freedom and democracy, while revealing new points of connection.
As part of the the "Taiwan Culture In Europe 2025" events, the exhibition features six ocean-themed works by contemporary Taiwanese artists. Ambassador Tang and his spouse welcomed friends from across Irish society to the opening ceremony on 11 November, celebrating the beauty of Taiwan’s mountains, seas, and island spirit.
The exhibition is now on display in the Office’s Consular Hall and Gallery Corridor for six months. Visitors are warmly welcomed to experience the vibrant currents that connect Taiwan and the world.
