The nation's R number -which indicates how many people on average one COVID patient infects - has also risen and now stands at 1.36. The number of COVID-19 patients hospitalized in serious condition currently stands at 88, with 38 connected to ventilators. Since the onset of the pandemic, 8,241 Israelis succumbed to the disease. * Settlers march in northern West Bank after last week's fatal shooting attack: Thousands of settlers marched near the illegal outpost of Homesh, in the northern West Bank where Yehuda Dimantman was killed in an alleged terror attack last week.
