To apply for a visa to travel to the Republic of China (Taiwan), applicants are required to fill out the visa application forms online at visawebapp.boca.gov.tw, and then print out the form and sign it. The completed forms with bar codes and other required documents ought to be submitted to the Taiwanese overseas missions which the applicants have selected while filling out their application forms.
Please be reminded that printed visa applications must be submitted at Taiwanese overseas missions within 14 days; otherwise, the online data will be automatically invalidated.
Eligible Applicants: Foreign nationals who hold ordinary passports or Travel Document in Lieu of National Passport issued by the Israeli government, who intend to stay in Taiwan for less than six months. Applicants from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, please refer to requirements outlined in Entry and exit of people from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau residents.

Processing Time:
It generally takes at least 5 business days to process or 3 business days for an expedited service, excluding day of submission. However, as visa applications are approved on a case by case basis, some can take longer time to process. Please allow for ample visa processing time when you plan your trip.
Notes:
Submission by an agent on behalf of the applicant: Please attach to your application a Power of Attorney signed by the applicant and a photocopy of the agent's valid passport. Names of the applicant and agent need to be spelled exactly as they appear on their passports.
Electronic signatures are not accepted. All submitted documents must be originals.
When a bank statement is required as part of the application, please provide an official bank account record for the last six months, in English. Ensure that your personal details appear on the document exactly as they are listed in your passport.
If you do not hold an Israeli or Palestinian passport, you must provide a photocopy of your valid Israeli Visa.

Visa/Passport Collection : Your visa can be picked up in person or by courier. If the person collecting the visa is not the applicants themselves, the courier needs to present a Power of Attorney signed by the applicant and a photocopy of the courier's valid passport . Please retain the receipt and present it when collecting your visa.
Underage applicants: Must include parent consent form (click here), proof of relationship and parents' valid passports.
