*Visa request letter from applicant mentioning purpose, type of study and duration
*Study plan
*2 Passport size photos 3.4x4.5cm, white background, showing 60% face
*Passport original (valid more than 6 months) and photocopy
*Acceptance/admission letter from the University in Taiwan
*Photocopies of highest degree and transcript/mark sheet (by the concerned state govt., *MEA and TECC) and the originals should be shown at the counter for reference.
*Photocopy of the authenticated health certificate (by the state govt., MEA and TECC).
*Not for provisional certificate holders
*Original and one photocopy of proof of financial support (personal or either one of the parents’ ITR and latest 3 months Bank statement)
Provisional certificate holder only: TECC will issue a student visa (visitor visa) for 60 days to the Provisional certificate holders which is extensible in Taiwan only twice. Please make an acknowledgement letter stating that you are aware of not getting residence visa at the time of submission of the visa application.
**For Provisional certificate holder:
According to the regulation of Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, foreign students should submit “Original Certificate and transcript/mark sheet” for acceptance. Therefore, the Original Certificate and Transcript/mark sheet are the mandatory documents for obtaining a student resident visa.
Once the Provisional certificate holders has completed his/her “Original Certificate and transcript/mark sheet” attestation procedure from TECC, the students can convert their visitor visa into resident visa in Taiwan only.
****For student who is holding Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh passport:
The visa for the above mentioned passport holder should prepare a visa guarantee letter provided by the inviter in Taiwan.

The inviter should fill the form, scan and mail it to the student, and keep the original guarantee letter in Taiwan.
TECC will provide a visa number to applicant, and the number should be informed to the inviter in Taiwan.
Whenever the inviter receive the visa number, the original guarantee letter should be submitted to Bureau of Consular of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BOCA) in Taiwan. The submission process please check http://www.boca.gov.tw/np.asp?ctNode=674&mp=1
The visa will be issued after BOCA verify the case and inform TECC.
The guarantee verification process will take at least 7 working days.
