Position Title:

Assistant, Education Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India (TECC)

Job Summary: The employee will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Education Division at TECC, de fecto the Taiwan Embassy in India. This role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will play a vital role in facilitating communication and coordination within the Education Division and with external stakeholders, contributing to the overall objectives of promoting educational exchange and collaboration between Taiwan and India.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Proven experience in administrative support, project coordination, or related roles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English. Mandarin Chinese ability will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of the education systems and cultural contexts of India and Taiwan is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
    • Assist the Education Division Director in managing schedules, appointments, and email/phone correspondence.
    • Organize and maintain documents, records, and databases related to educational programs, initiatives, and partnerships.
    • Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
  2. Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, including logistics, agendas, invitations, and follow-up activities.
    • Facilitate communication and information exchange between the Education Division and relevant stakeholders to promote collaboration and partnership opportunities.
    • Analyze data and information to identify opportunities for enhancing educational exchange and cooperation between Taiwan and India.
  3. Project Management:
    • Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational projects, programs, and initiatives.
    • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and budgets, and provide regular updates to the Education Division Director.
  4. Public Relations and Outreach:
    • Support the Education Division's efforts in promoting Taiwan's education system, scholarships, and cultural exchange programs in India.
    • Assist in developing promotional materials, website content, and social media posts to raise awareness of educational opportunities in Taiwan.
