Nationals of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka who have been invited to attend international conferences, sporting events, trade fairs or other activities in Taiwan which organized, co-organized, or sponsored by Taiwanese central government agencies or visit for business purposes at the recommendation of overseas offices of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, TAITRA, are eligible for an eVisa of Taiwan.
Such foreign nationals must obtain an E-code from the host organization or TAITRA in Taiwan (n.b., not the Bureau of Consular Affairs, MOFA) prior to submitting an online application. These kind of eVisa should and could only be single entry and the duration of stay is 30 days without extension.
For other purposes of visa such as employment, study, etc., applicants must submit their applications for sticker visa together with required documents – work permit, acceptance letter of school as well as others which indicated on the website of the Taipei Economic and Culture Center in India:
