- In order to avoid the loss of important personal identity documents, the TECC in Mumbai currently does not accept visa applications by mail. If Maldivian nationals wish to apply for a visa, the applicant may come in person or entrust an agent with a power of attorney signed by the applicant.
- Currently, visa fees are only payable in Indian Rupees. Applicants can pay in cash or scan the QR code at the counter to pay the consular fees.
