On March 8, this office met with members of the Taiwanese community in Mumbai, primarily from the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Maharashtra West, India (TCCMW). During the gathering, participants exchanged Lunar New Year greetings and wished one another prosperity in the Year of the Horse, hoping for good fortune and continued success. They also extended warm greetings on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Participants further exchanged views on India’s development, the evolving international situation, and the prospects for Taiwan–India cooperation. The discussion highlighted the growing momentum of deepening bilateral economic diplomacy under the broader framework of integrated diplomacy.
