Director General Homer Chang and Secretary William Wang of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in Mumbai attended a reception on March 7 marking the inauguration of a new factory established in Maharashtra, India, by the Taiwanese company Tex Year Group from Taiwan. Also present were Tex Year’s Indian partners, members of local Taiwanese community, Director Vic Lin of TAITRA Mumbai Office, and Executive Director Estela Chen of Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India, who joined in extending congratulations to Chairman Donal Hsiao and the Tex Year team. The event was filled with an atmosphere reflecting mutually beneficial cooperation between Taiwan and India.
In his remarks, Director General Chang emphasized the win–win nature of Taiwan–India cooperation. Taiwan’s technology and experience, combined with India’s talent and market, will enable both sides to become more integrated into global supply chains and promote sustainable development of their industries. He noted that the establishment of the new hot-melt adhesives factory represents an important step in Tex Year Group’s global expansion and will serve as a model for innovation and mutually beneficial cooperation between Taiwan and India.
