Director General Homer Chang with his colleagues, received Ms. Jenny Liao, an overseas Taiwanese in Gujarat, and her company on April 17 at the office. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the living experiences and business operations of Taiwanese compatriots in India. They also held in-depth discussions on Ms. Liao’s recent publication regarding her observation in India.
They noted that while India and Taiwan differ in national conditions, the values nurtured by religious and cultural traditions are closely aligned. For instance, the social virtues reflected in Bhagavad Gita such as respect for elders, reverence for teachers, and hospitality, are similarly observed in both societies. It is believed that continued exchanges will further enhance mutual understanding and create broader opportunities for cooperation.
