A Warm Taiwanese Gathering and “A Chip Odyssey” & “Taiwan Cares Beyond Borders” Screening

On May 30, TECC in Mumbai hosted a warm, culturally and technologically enriched gathering with Taiwanese compatriots, mostly members of the chamber of commerce. The event started with Director General Homer Chang sharing the core tenets of the Indian epic Bhagavad Gita, inspiring attendees to reflect on the comparative philosophies of India and Taiwan. Attendees then watched “A Chip Odyssey”—a documentary chronicling Taiwan's semiconductor history and “Taiwan Cares Beyond Borders”. Both films deeply moved the audience, profoundly showcasing Taiwan's critical contributions and prowess in information technology and international medical care.
Grounded in a shared spirit of fulfilling duties, leveraging expertise, and giving back to society, attendees engaged in lively discussions. They drew on insights from the films and shared their own business and life experiences, beautifully demonstrating the strong solidarity and positive, forward-looking spirit of the Taiwanese community in Mumbai.
