Director-General Charles Li of TECC in Chennai on the morning of July 28th, 2018 visited the representatives of 15 Taiwanese companies at the Taiwan Pavilion of the Medicall- India's premier medical equipment show July 27th-29th, 2018 at Chennai Trade Center. Director-General Charles Li encouraged the representatives of Taiwanese companies, many of whom visit India and participate in the Medicall show for the first time, to explore the potentials of the Indian market and manage to identify competent agents to jointly develop their market share. To take advantage of the Make in India policy initiated by Prime Narendra Modi and the New Southbound Policy by President Tsay Ing-wen of Taiwan, the R.O.C., Taiwanese companies shall seriously think about the imminent feasibility to assemble or manufacture in India their high quality products with competitive pricing scheme.
