Mr. Wang stressed that Taiwan has ranked India as a major partner country in its New Southbound Policy. Taiwan is ready to fully engage with India in every aspect, including but not limited to investment, technology, healthcare, agriculture, education, culture and tourism. He expresses optimism in the Taiwan-India bilateral interactions of which momentum is sure to pick up after current setback caused by the pandemic.
Having learned of CM Pinarayi Vijayan previous travel plan to Taiwan, Mr. Wang cordially welcomes CM to visit Taiwan at the time when the Covid-19 pandemic is well curbed. He says this will be an opportunity for CM Vijayan to eyewitness Taiwan’s achievements in ICT development especially in design and application in smart city, smart manufacturing, smart agriculture and smart healthcare. Finally, Mr. Wang presents three oxygen generators as gift to the government of Kerala to convey Taiwan’s concern and to show solidarity in combating the pandemic.
