Director-General Stephen Hsu of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in Chennai, accompanied by his colleagues, hosted a dinner on the evening of May 22 for Mr. Shridhar Raman, Associate Vice President of Apollo Hospital; Dr. Subbulakshmi Dorairaj, Physician of Apollo Hospital; and Dr. M. Ramya, Dean of A M Jain College, together with faculty members and students.
Director-General Stephen Hsu of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in Chennai, accompanied by his colleagues, hosted a dinner on the evening of May 22 for Mr. Shridhar Raman, Associate Vice President of Apollo Hospital; Dr. Subbulakshmi Dorairaj, Physician of Apollo Hospital; and Dr. M. Ramya, Dean of A M Jain College, together with faculty members and students. DG Hsu expressed his appreciation to Apollo Hospital and A M Jain College for their strong support of TECC’s badminton friendship event, “Fun Fitness, Support Taiwan’s Participation in the World Health Organization (WHO),” held on May 17 at Shuttler by Tiki Taka in Chennai. During the event, Apollo Hospital dispatched a four-member medical team to the venue to take care of the health and safety of the participating players, while A M Jain College supported the event by sending five students with photography expertise to capture the event proceedings and highlights of the matches. Their assistance helped make TECC’s badminton friendship event, organized to promote Taiwan’s participation in the WHO, a great success. During the dinner, DG Hsu also presented certificates of appreciation to the Apollo medical personnel and the A M Jain College students who assisted TECC with the event, in recognition of their enthusiastic support and valuable contributions. Mr. Raman and Dr. Ramya, representing Apollo Hospital and A M Jain College respectively, stated that they were honored to take part in this meaningful event organized by TECC. They also expressed their hope to continue working with TECC in the future to promote further exchanges and cooperation in public health, youth engagement, sports, and other public-interest areas.
