Amb. Lin was pleased to visit the Indian Castle farm and the Nevis Agro-processing centre on Oct. 19 at the invitation of Hon. Alexis Jeffers, Deputy Premier and Minister of Agriculture.
At this site newly launched this year, some 30 kinds of fruit and vegetables are being planted and grown, including coconut, passion fruit, guava, soursop, sugar apple, onion and cassava, just to name a few.
This farm is one of the many laudable efforts of St Kitts and Nevis to promote "Eat Local" and food security. It also demonstrates the tangible outcome of the Federation’s long-lasting cooperation in agriculture with Taiwan.
