Ambassador Lin and Hon. Eugene Hamilton, Minister of Social Development and Gender Affairs, joined the trainees of Food and Beverage Entrepreneurship Training under the Women Employment, Empowerment & Financial Inclusion Project for a session on Feb. 17th. The trainees made baked fish and kale salad as part of their training course, which won the praises of the judges.
The Women Employment, Empowerment & Financial Inclusion Project is a joint effort between the governments of Taiwan and the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, with the aim to support and boost the economy after the impacts of the pandemic and to strengthen women’s economic empowerment. The 3-week Food and Beverage Entrepreneurship Training course was designed to provide trainees with information and practical skills to enable them to grow and manage their food and beverage businesses. This is yet another successful example of the enduring partnership between Taiwan and the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
