Taipei Commercial Representative Office in the State of Kuwait has been authorized by the ROC (Taiwan) government to extend its consular services to Qatar since April 1, 2018.
The applicant who applies for Qatar-issued document authentication should submit document(s) to Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs first for authentication, then take the document(s) to Qatar embassy in Kuwait and Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their re-authentication. After the previous processes were completed, the document(s) can be submitted to this office for final authentication.
The applicant who applies for Taiwan-issued document authentication in this regard, please follows the steps as below:
- Document(s) must be authenticated first by the Bureau of Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry or by its branch offices in Taiwan.
- The applicant or the entrusted agent can submit document(s) to this office (Address: No. 21A, Street 103, Block 8, Al-Jabriya, Kuwait) for re-authentication.
- Document(s) then need to be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait for re-authentication.
- Proceed to Qatar embassy in Kuwait for document authentication.
Specific Notes:
According to Qatar government’s regulation, Qatar embassy in any of the GCC countries does not accept the application for document authentication related to educational certificate issued by other countries except the resident country or Qatar itself. The applicant or the entrusted agent needs to submit educational document(s) to the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs for authentication after the previous steps were completed.
