The 2016 Taiwan Scholarship Awarding Ceremony will be held jointly by the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Ministry of of Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and Sustainable Development, Saint Luica on 26th July Tuesday, 2:30 pm. at the Orchid Center, Union.
This year, totally 138 young people from St. Lucia applied for the scholarships offered by MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), International Cooperation Development Fund (TaiwanICDF), and I-Shou University School of Medicine.
The competition was keen because of the high quality candidates from different countries. Saint Lucia has more than 60 students now studying in Taiwan, and has more than 50 completed their studies in Taiwan and back to Saint Lucia.
Until now, about 130 Saint Lucian students have been granted different Scholarship Programs offered by the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
