With the of the support of the @TaiwanTechnicalMission and the talented intern Jimmy Chiu, the paper version of the Kwéyòl–English dictionary is now accessible online with AI-powered trial version of translation.
Much to everyone’s delight, Jimmy joins online from Taiwan, a powerful demonstration of the impact of digitalization again.
All intellectual property rights have been transferred to allow the FRC to maintain, expand, and further develop the system, making Kwéyòl more accessible to students, educators, and the wider public.
Beyond a digital tool, with this project, we are supporting the preservation and promotion of Saint Lucia’s rich Kwéyòl language and culture—an essential part of national identity, heritage, and community life.
