Ambassador Andrew H.C. Lee recently met with Mr. Eric Chang of Taiwan’s Horizon International Intellectual, Mr. Yuriy Sak, former advisor to the Ukrainian Defence Minister, and Professor Yaroslav Drozdovskyy from Ukraine’s Uzhhorod National University. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to strengthen collaboration between Taiwan and Ukraine in the fields of higher education and the defense industry.

Ambassador Andrew H.C. Both Yuriy and Yuroslav expressed their appreciation for Taiwan’s kindness and generosity in providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, as well as its active support in reconstruction efforts following Russia’s invasion. Yuriy also shared his observations and insights from his multiple visits to Taiwan.
