The Taiwanese Association hosted Luncheon for the Dragon Boat Festival

In celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival, the Taiwanese Association hosted a luncheon for the Dragon Boat Festival on June 2, 2019 at the local Taiwanese restaurant, Won Hai Shien. In his opening remarks, Ambassador Hsiao greeted the Taiwanese community on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Overseas Community Affairs Council of the ROC(Taiwan). At the luncheon, the Embassy also prepared sticky rice dumplings, sponsored by Chi Mei Frozen Food Co., Ltd (CMF) for the local Taiwanese community. Smiles, laughter and talks were exchanged at every table throughout the 3-hour luncheon.
