Amb. Hsiao Attends the Jaluit Day Celebration with H.E. President David Kabua and Ambassadors from the U.S. and Japan

Amb. Hsiao and Mrs. Hsiao, along with H.E. David Kabua, cabinet members, Mayors, traditional leaders, U.S. Amb. Roxanne Cabral and Japan Amb. Saito Norio, attended Jaluit Kamolol Day on September 3rd, 2020. More than 200 people jointly celebrated the special day.
Followed by the flag-raising and National Anthem, President David Kabua extended his gratitude for the participation of Ambassadors from the ROC(Taiwan), the U.S. and Japan, and stated that the presence of diplomatic allies showcases the solid friendship among the countries. U.S. Amb. Cabral also articulated the special relationship between the U.S. and the RMI, and the U.S. will continue to work with the ROC(Taiwan) and Japan to help the RMI fight against COVID-19.
Before departing to Majuro, Christopher Loeak, Minister in Assistance to the President and Environment, invited Amb. Hsiao and Mrs, Hsiao and Amb. Saito to visit the hotel and farm land run by his family.
