Amb. and Mrs. Hsiao, along with H.E. President David Kabua, Irojlaplap and Senator Michael Kabua, Minister of Foreign Affairs Casten Nemra, Minister of Internal Affairs Jemi Nashion, Minister of Works Jiba Kabua, Senator Tony Aiseia, Majuro Mayor Ladie Jack, Kwajalein Mayor Hirata Kabua, Amb. Roxanne Cabral of the U.S., Amb. Saito Norio of Japan, and Amb. Brek Batley of Australia and Mrs. Batley attended the celebration on the 3rd of September, 2021.
The ceremony started with the singing of the national anthem and a prayer , then followed by remarks from H.E. President David Kabua. He expressed gratitude for the participation of the diplomatic corps. The celebration ended with an island tour, during which guests visited relics from WWII.
