Taiwan Technical Mission Promoting Agriculture and Balanced Diets, Ambassador Hsio Delighted to Join

The Embassy of the R.O.C. (Taiwan) in the Marshall Islands thanks the U.S. Embassy in Majuro for having the Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) set up a booth at the "Bo July Celebration". The TTM was able to promote the concept of balanced diets and offer fresh vegetables grown in the Laura Farm to Marshallese people through interactive games. Ambassador Jeffrey S.C. Hsiao was also delighted to join the participants in the activities.
In total, the TTM gave away 355 pounds (161kg) of vegetables and 78 seedlings while reaching our goal of educating the public about balanced diets.
Taiwan will continue to promote agriculture and healthy eating habits in the Marshall Islands to bolster the country’s food security and ensure people’s health.
