In celebration of the Christmas holiday, Ambassador Steve C.C. Hsia, Mrs. Hsia, embassy staff, and members of the Taiwan Technical Mission participated in the Marshall Islands Chamber of Commerce's annual Christmas parade, where they extended warm wishes, and distributed Christmas candies to the local community.
Embarking on a 5-kilometer walk from the Rita area to the Delap area of Majuro Atoll, the Taiwanese team engaged with the local communities by dispensing Christmas treats to Marshallese friends. In return, friends of Taiwan warmly expressed their thanks and greetings.
For several consecutive years, the Marshall Islands Chamber of Commerce has organized a Christmas parade event during the Christmas season. The event has become a cherished tradition, endearing itself to the residents of Majuro, particularly among children, adding a festive touch to the Christmas celebration in the local communities.
