H.E. Ambassador Daniel D.W. Tang and Hon. Minister of Resources and Development Alfred Alfred Jr. joint hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Taiwan Technical Mission new pig house on December 16, 2016. RMI Government dignities and local Taiwan Community leaders were invited to witness the completion and the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new pig house.
At the ceremony, Hon. Minister Alfred Jr. expressed his appreciation to the ROC (Taiwan) and the Embassy for the assistance and support in many areas to the RMI over the years. The new pig house is another testament of the close relations and cooperation between the two countries. He looks forward to working closely with the Embassy and TTM to replicate the farm success to outer islands.

Mayor Jack and their capable staff for the efforts made in completing the new pig house. H.E. Ambassador Tang reiterated the strong commitments of the ROC (Taiwan) in strengthening staunch diplomatic relations and furthering mutual benefit partnership with the RMI. The Embassy would make every effort to continuously cooperate with the Ministry of R&D to enhance people’s welfare and sustainable development of the two countries.
