The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is pleased to inform the general public of the Republic of the Marshall Islands that the 2019 Pacific Islands Leadership Program with Taiwan (PILP), sponsored by the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the East-West Center in Hawaii, United States of America, is now open to the Pacific Islands nations including the Republic of the Marshall Islands for application.
The 2019 PILP program starts in September and end in December 2019. It is an intensive leadership development training program in Taiwan and Honolulu. There are three phases of PILP, including at the East-West Center, on field study in Taiwan and the closing Leadership Retreat in Taiwan. The program is aimed at early to mid-career professionals, spanning the ages of approximately 25 to 38.
The Embassy wishes to invite and encourage eligible professionals from the Marshall Islands to apply for the 2019 PILP program. The program will provide funding for tuition and course materials, residence hall room costs, health insurance, living stipend, round-trip airfare to Honolulu, roundtrip airfare from Honolulu to Taipei and visa SEVIS fees (if required).
