Representative Anne Hung of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia was invited to give remarks at a “Study in Taiwan” webinar held by Selangor State Education Department on August 7th, 2021, to promote study in Taiwan and boost the interest of non-Chinese Malaysian students to further study in Taiwan.
In her remarks, Representative Anne Hung encouraged students to pursue their dreams in Taiwan and return to contribute to the local society after the study. She pointed out that high-quality education environment and diverse cultures have been shaping Taiwan one of the best study abroad destinations for young people wanting to learn Mandarin or undertake degree courses. Affordable tuition fees and an increasing number of university programs that are taught in English have also attracted many international students. She encouraged while studying in Taiwan, students can also experience a vibrant, modern society rooted in one of the world’s most fascinating cultures and innovation environments which will lead young people to a bright future.
The webinar was held at google meet platform and streamlined through Facebook. During the webinar, the Education Division, TECO was also invited to talk about the unique features of the higher education system and the latest educational information of Taiwan to encourage Malaysian students to study in Taiwan.
