Representative Anne Hung Attends the UM & FGS MOU/MOA Signing and HBRC Opening Ceremony

Representative Anne Hung attended University of Malaya and Fo Guang Shan MOU/MOA Signing & Humanistic Buddhism Research Centre (HBRC) Opening Ceremony on November 21, 2022, to witness the start of research collaboration on topics and issues related to humanities, history, culture and the teachings of Buddha and Humanistic Buddhism between both sides.
In her remarks, Representative Anne Hung applauded Fo Guang Shan for its contribution in the promotion of the interdisciplinary study of Humanistic Buddhism and its devotion to higher education in Taiwan. She also stated that the University of Malaya has always been a close partner of Taiwan on educational collaboration efforts. With the establishment of HRBC, she looks forward to more education and research collaborations in the future.
The invited guests include, Dr. Chaur-Shin Yung, Chancellor and President of FGS International University Consortium, Professor Dr. Yvonne Lim Ai Lian, Associate Vice Chancellor of the University of Malaya, Ven Jue Cheng, the Chief Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, Professor Datuk Dr. Danny Wong Tze Ken, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya and representatives from universities, and Fo Guang Shan worldwide branches.
