Call for Submissions: 2026 Presidential Hackathon (International Track)

Initiated by the Office of the President in 2019, the Presidential Hackathon is now entering its eighth year. The event invites talented individuals of all ages and nationalities to leverage open data and innovative technologies to address public issues, promote cross-border and interdisciplinary collaboration, and enhance both public well-being and governance innovation.
The theme for 2026 is “Digital Inclusion in the AI Era.” Applications are now open. Outstanding teams will be invited to visit Taiwan and engage in exchanges with public- and private-sector organizations in Taiwan with potential for future collaboration.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Teams must consist of 3 to 10 members, with at least 1 non-Taiwanese member.
• All registration materials and project submissions must be in English.
• The registration period is now open and will close at 5:00 PM on July 31, 2026 (GMT+08:00). Please complete your registration via the official website （https://gov.tw/cYQ）.
