WHO CAN APPLY

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Application form for overseas compatriot identity endorsement of Taiwan passport
- Current Taiwan (ROC) passport
- Proof of your lawful citizenship / permanent residency in New Zealand
- e.g. New Zealand passport, New Zealand citizenship certificate, ROC passport with New Zealand permanent resident visa, etc.
- New Zealand travel movement details issued by the New Zealand Customs Service
- Certificate of Entry and Exit Dates (入出國日期證明書) issued by the NATIONAL IMMIGRATION AGENCY
- Required documents and the procedures of application
- Applicants who live in New Zealand may apply for the Certificate via TECO Wellington office or Auckland office. (please click for more details)
- Return postage
- Parent's ROC passport and Taiwan household registration transcript issued within three months (if applicable)
- For those under 18 years.
- Additional documents may be required depending on the circumstance.
DURATION
It takes 5~10 working days to process a standard application. Please note: the processing time begins when we receive a correctly completed application and we have all the information required to issue an OCIE. Extra time should be allowed for the Certificate of Entry/Exit Dates applications and delivery to and from the Passport Office.
