The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New Zealand (TECO) represents the Taiwan Government in New Zealand.
We’re seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented assistant to provide consular and other administrative assistance in:
- document authentications and payments;
- overseas community affairs (education) and emergency assistance;
- applications related to National Immigration Agency, service of documents, general office administration, reception duties, and
- other ad-hoc administrative support.
This is a full-time position at entry level and you’ll be working at our office located at Majestic Centre, Wellington Central.
You’ll need to be at least a university graduate with excellent communication, organizational and social skills; good working attitude and good command of Microsoft Office. You must be fluent in English, and, due to the nature of the tasks required, you’ll need to master traditional Chinese.
You’ll be working in a challenging but interesting environment, providing day-to-day office administrative tasks. You will need to drive from time to time, and be willing to accept other reasonable assigned tasks.
Your working hour will be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The first 3 months of employment will be a trial period.
