Ambassador Jessica Lee was invited as a Special Guest Speaker by the Palau Chamber of Commerce (PCOC) at its General Membership Meeting @ Palau Royal Resort today. Welcomed by PCOC’s President Sam Scott and PCOC members, Amb. Lee shared information on Taiwan Trade Show and the programs carried out by the Embassy, including Taiwan Digital Opportunity Center, Tourism promotion, aquaculture poultry, and livestock projects by the Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) in Palau.
The upcoming Taiwan Trade Show will be the first-ever grand trade event in Palau, and it is to be held on 5-12 October at the Palasia Hotel. There will be 19 Taiwanese industry and food companies, and 7 Taiwan Excellence Award-winning products will be displayed. Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will arrange the Trade Show with online-merge-offline (OMO) service so that exhibitors can conduct on-site exchanges with buyers. Amb. Lee welcomes the buyers and the public to take this great opportunity to meet Taiwanese businesses at this event.
The Palau Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization established in 1992 in Palau to promote and advocate for businesses and business opportunities; its core objectives are to create jobs and to grow the economy of Palau.
