Taiwanese "Changhua Christian Hospital Medical Outreach Team"

The Taiwanese "Changhua Christian Hospital Medical Outreach Team" consisted of a group of six individuals led by Dr. Hsiao-Ling Kao, the Executive Director of the hospital's Overseas Medical Center (1st person from the right in the photo). The team visited Papua New Guinea from July 3rd to 8th, 2023. On the morning of July 4th, they visited the University of Papua New Guinea School of Medicine. As per the medical cooperation memorandum signed between the two parties in 2022, they donated a "Portable Ultrasound Device" to the university. Both sides will collaborate in training specialist doctors, academic cooperation, and medical education to foster healthcare professionals in Papua New Guinea. Mr. Ben Wang, the Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in PNG (3rd person from the right in the photo) attended the donation ceremony. Dr. Tvakapi Tefuarani, the President of the University of Papua New Guinea (4th person from the left in the photo), expressed heartfelt gratitude for Taiwan's assistance.
