PUBLIC ADVISORY
The Government of the Philippines declared on May 28, 2020 the lift of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) but the National Capital Region under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) shall be in effect. Accordingly, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO) will resume providing consular services on June 1, 2020.
In order to contain the spread of COVID-19, the following measures will be imposed on the premises of TECO:
1. Consular services hour will be adjusted as follows: Monday to Friday, Filing time 10:00 ~ 12:00, Releasing Time 14:00~16:00;
2. Wearing face mask, observing social distancing and having body temperature checked are mandatory;
3. All applications for general visa, document authentication, passport of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and immigration related matters are required to be made by advance telephone reservation. Starting from 9:00 a.m. Monday, June 1 2020, please call 02-8887-6688 (switchboard)
at local #100 for general visa application;
at local #148 for document authentication and R.O.C. passport application;
at local #134 for intercountry marriage related matters;
at local #144 for immigration related matters.
4. Migrant worker visa applications, only 10 manpower agencies are allowed to file every day. Each manpower agency is limited to maximum 10 applications per day. (The number of migrant worker visa applications will be adjusted in accordance with the quarantine measures of the Philippine government without announcement.)
