Representative Her visits Casa do Lilases retirement home in Lisbon

Representative Her and Secretary Liu of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center paid a visit to the Casa dos Lilases retirement home in Lisbon on May 13th and were received by the director of the facility, Carlos Coelho. Director Coelho introduced the origin, installation and management of the facility to Representative Her. Representative Her exchanged ideas with director Coelho on issues related to Taiwan’s current elderly welfare system and invited members of the retirement home to attend the Taiwanese documentary film festival held on May 18th. Representative Her also believes that they can understand how the Taiwanese government is assisting the welfare of elderly people in Taiwan. Director Coelho agreed to help with the promotion of the films and the arrangement for members of the retirement home to attend the festival.
