The government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will be drawing the operations of the Taipei Representative Office in Norway to a close on September 30, 2017.
The Taipei Mission in Sweden will assume responsibility for consular affairs for the Norwegian area starting September 1, 2017.
Applications for the authentication of documents can be submitted in person or by post, and will be conducted in principle as follows:
Requirements, incomplete application will be rejected/returned:
- Completed application form (Form download )
- Clear copy of the applicant's passport
- Original documents for authentication. All original documents must first be notarized at a Notary Public then certified by the Royal Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs. As for some government issued document the notarization by the Notary Public might not be required, but the certification by the Royal Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs is needed nevertheless.
- A copy of all documents for the office’s record, however if several documents are identical, one copy is sufficient, preferably double sided copies.
- A fee of 155 SEK per document, for express handlings the fee will be 233 SEK per document. Payment must be made at least 2 days in advance, i.e. received by us the day before we receive the application. Please note that our Swedish bank (SEB) charges 31.85 SEK for transfers from Norway and for transfers outside of the EU, the bank transaction fee will be 80 SEK, when transferring, please do not forget to add 31.85 or 80 SEK per transaction. If there is any shortage of payment, the applicant will be required to make up the deficiencies before documents handling.
