Achieving zero carbon emissions is a universal goal. The Taiwanese government also announced this year in 2023 an action plan for the 12 key strategies, which promises to gather resources across government agencies, to actualize its vision of net-zero emissions by 2050. In line with the government’s industrial policies, TAITRA and SEMI will jointly organize Energy Taiwan, one of the world’s most iconic expos of renewable energy, in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 from 18 through 20 of October 2023. This mega event, which includes five exhibitions—PV Taiwan, Wind Taiwan, Smart Storage Taiwan, Emerging Power Taiwan and Net-Zero Taiwan, will once again serve as Taiwan’s largest business platform for Net-Zero transformations.
The five-in-one expo hosted international exhibitors from a total of 12 countries in 2022; moreover, it featured six national pavilions, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. The UK-Taiwan Hydrogen Pavilion was jointly set up by the British Office Taipei and Taiwan Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Partnership. The Belgian Offshore Cluster made their Taiwanese debut in last year’s exhibition. In addition, Energy Taiwan 2022 has set a record in scale, a significant growth of more than 40% from the year before with 1,000 plus booths, attesting to the robust momentum in the industry of renewable energy and Net-Zero-related sectors propelled by government policies and industrial trends.
