Want to try authentic Taiwanese delicacies? Want to thoroughly relax? Then visit Taiwan to experience all it has to offer. From August 24-26 you are invited to visit the Taiwan Tourism Bureau booth at the Singapore NATAS Holiday 2012, choose from the bargains available, and pick up a free gift. Actively seeking to attract more visitors from Singapore to Taiwan, the Tourism Bureau has launched the Time for Taiwan promotional campaign and aims to attract visitors by offering good food, shopping, romance, and LOHAS experiences to visitors from Singapore.
In July, the Tourism Bureau brought out the Taiwan Amusement Park Ticket and Taiwan Gift Coupon and visitors from Singapore have the opportunity to enter one of 20 amusements parks free of charge as well as visiting Taipei 101 and Sun Moon Lake; when leaving Taiwan, visitors can also exchange a gift voucher for a fine gift with a distinctive Taiwanese flavor specially selected by the Tourism Bureau at an airport duty-free shop. Not only this, the Bureau will also hold a series of cycling events in November to give visitors an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of cycle paths island-wide, experiencing Taiwan in a different way. Also, from November 24-25 a matchmaking event will be held in Tainan. All singles are welcome to visit Taiwan to share the romantic atmosphere.
The Tourism Bureau will lead a group of 218 representatives to NATAS Holiday 2012 and will hold a Taiwan tourism workshop at the Carlton Hotel on August 22, providing the latest Taiwan travel information, promoting quality travel products. Local media and travel agents are invited to attend and find out the latest information about travel bargains, such as the 2012-2013 Incentive Travel Discount Measures which promote Taiwan’s quality travel products, not just aiming at ordinary travel groups, but also aiming at encouraging travel agents to bring incentive travel groups to Taiwan.
During NATAS Holiday, at the Taiwan Pavilion (booth number 4H46,) Taiwan Children’s Folklore & Folkgame teacher, Magic balloon teacher, and on-site Taiwan's Jelly Fig DIY will give the people of Singapore a taste of traditional and modern Taiwanese fun. Also, M.H.D. Diabolo art Taiwan will give two world-class diabolo performances every day on the venue’s main stage; representatives of various local governments in Taiwan will attend the Product Presentation that will accompany NATAS Holiday and will introduce Taiwan tourism in two sessions every day, giving the Singapore public the most up-to-date travel information. To whip up buying interest at the travel fair and encourage Singaporean agents to actively sell Taiwan travel packages, any local from Singapore who buys a Taiwan travel product during the travel show can receive a fine travel item on showing proof at the Tourism Bureau booth.
