Taiwan helps WIFI project in Slovakia.

Starting from 18th July 2012, visitors of Petržalka’s Draždiak lake can connect to Internet free of charge.
Another free wifi zone in the capital is part of a free wifi project financially supported by the Republic of China (Taiwan) Development Fund. The internet connection near the Draždiak lake was officially launched by the Taiwanese Representative David Nan-yang Lee and Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on European Affairs Ivan Štefanec.
“After a positive feedback from public, enjoying the free wifi zones in other parts of Bratislava, we have decided to continue in this meaningful project. As I have learned from Mr. Štefanec, Draždiak lake is a very popular place to spend hot summer days hear in Bratislava, so I believe that visitors will appreciate and enjoy this new free service,” said Nan-yang Lee.
Slovak-Taiwanese Parliamentary Friendship Group headed by MP Ivan Štefanec cooperates with the Taipei Representative Office on various projects bringing benefits to both citizens and visitors of Bratislava.
