Taiwan’s International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF), Korean INGO-Good Neighbors International and U.S. social enterprise, Dimagi Inc., will jointly hold a webinar entitled “Strengthening the Public Health System for Maintaining Essential Health Services during the COVID19 Pandemic” on May 25, 18:00 (Bangkok Time). The webinar is aimed at highlighting 2011 as “Year of Health and Care Workers and ”Protect. Invest. Together” addressed by WHO’s 2011 agenda.
Taiwan’s Deputy Director-General of CDC of Ministry of Health and Welfare, Dr. Philip Lo, will give a featured address on “Healthcare Preparedness and Response to COVID-19 Taiwan.” The speakers from Taiwan, U.S., South Korea, and St.Kitts and Nevis will share the strategy and practice on the preserving and strengthening of healthcare system and service for pandemic-fighting.
