Delfina Foundation, Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in UK will once again partner to provide a Taiwanese artist or curator with a 12-week residency from 25 June to 11 September 2026. The programme aims to support talented emerging Taiwanese artists or curators develop their creative practice and build international connections.
Delfina Foundation is a well-known UK-based institution promoting artistic development, with connections throughout the UK and Europe. It also provides various types of assistance and consultation to help residents expand their international network. Located in downtown London, the residency particularly suits those with the ambition of interacting globally. This residency open call is for Taiwanese artists and curators and is open to any type of creation or research topic. With the professional assistance and network of Delfina Foundation, participants can dialogue with British art communities to engage with global issues and expand their international participation.
Besides carrying out independent research and creative work, residents are also assisted and encouraged by Delfina Foundation to have informal gatherings or discussions with other residents. Delfina Foundation will arrange external visits and networking activities to allow residents to proactively exchange ideas with local art groups. During visits and other activities, residents will be introduced to local and international artists, curators, scholars and researchers. They will also receive professional guidance through introductions to institutions or organisations that align with their interests and development consultation with local art experts.
The application deadline is 22 February, 2026 (UK time). Applicants will be assessed by a panel of British artists and curators assembled by Delfina Foundation. The first round is a written application, and shortlisted applicants will be invited to an online interview. The panel’s decision is expected to be announced by the end of March 2026.
