Launched on 2 April 2018 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Leave No One Behind website is part of Taiwan government efforts to demonstrate Taiwan’s steadfast commitment to pursuing the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s goal of universal health coverage.
The portal contains a collection of images showcasing decades of Taiwan’s contributions to medical care, as well as spotlighting the country’s strong case for participation in the 71st World Health Assembly (WHA)—the decision-making body of the WHO—from 21-26 May 2018 in Geneva. Website highlights include photographs and films separated into the categories of Affordable UHC, Biomedical Technology, Global Contributions, and Front-line Experiences.
