Representative Lin visits Bombardier Transportation UK

On 3 May, Representative Lin and several TRO personnel visited the Derby-based train manufacturer Bombardier Transportation UK to promote railway industry links between Taiwan and Britain. The company produced trains for the Taipei metro’s ‘Wenhu’ Line and has discussed future collaboration with the Taiwan Railways Administration. During the visit, company finance director Garry Mowbray briefed Representative Lin about Bombardier Transportation UK’s business status, range of trains in production and related technologies. Representative Lin and the accompanying TRO staff were also given a special tour of Bombardier’s train production line.
