The following day (22nd June) was the TBBC Business Forum in the location of Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Sir Andrew Cahn and MOEA Deputy Minister Lin attended the forum. The focus of the forum was to encourage UK companies to consider exports of good and services to Taiwan and to facilitate UK/Taiwanese collaborative ventures for the Taiwan market and third countries. Panel discussions were led by the divided groups concerning the key sector skills.
The 2-day TBBC meeting was successful with the support from Taipei Representative Office in the UK, particularly Economic Division. The 13th TBBC meeting will take place in Taiwan in 2011 with both government representatives at ministerial level.
